October 10, 2023 — Associate Director Alex Powers and Program Assistant Tara Shawa led a session at the Aspen Institute’s Opportunity Youth Forum Fall Convening where they presented findings from Ensuring an Equitable Recovery, the most recent of Measure of America’s annual youth disconnection reports. These findings looked at the latest research on youth disconnection, such as the impact of Covid on disconnection.

She presented key findings from our report, Youth Disconnection in The Rapides Foundation Service Area, and shared insight on ways to reduce high rates of disconnection, especially in rural areas.
